Our Inflight Magazine Collection
Inflight Magazines After boarding a plane, you will probably found these three items inside your seat pocket: a barf bag, a safety card and an in-flight magazine. An up-to-standard airline should provide these three items for each passenger. Actually, you can immediately consider the airline service as appalling if any of these items is missing!
In-flight magazines usually give you some basic information about the service of airlines. Articles inside also reflect the culture of the country the airlines company belongs to. In-flight magazine can be a very good item for collection.

But we don't collect these. We only collect safety cards. However, some in-flight magazines are exceptional and are kept in our collection. They are in-flight magazine with safety instructions printed on it.

Before the first safety card appeared in this world, safety information is printed on the in-flight magazine. This is a common practice of airlines during the 70s. However, it is found that during emergency situation, it is difficult for a passenger to browse through the magazine to find the location of safety information quickly. This is the reason for printing the safety information on a separate card, thus safety card. Nowadays, only very few airlines still print the safety information on their in-flight magazines instead of printing on a separate card.

Our in-flight magazine collection now contains two items. One is an antique item from Sabena in the 70s. This item is the pioneer of Sabena safety cards. The second item is a modern one from Pulkovo Airlines. This airlines company is one of the few airlines company which still print the safety information on their in-flight magazines.
